I use industrial grade sewing machines to make a larger pair of undies out of two smaller ones. I am also a huge collector of larger sized underwear with fun prints and stuff. they are out there, but you have to look. GAP still sells briefs in up to XXL (18-20) Fruit of the loom makes packs sold at Walmart with like 2 kiddy-ish prints, Target carries the Cat &jack line, with briefs up to l/xl 14-16. You can alway go to a Walmart or TARGET with a self checkout, if you are embarrassed. I was always so obsessed that I pushed through the embarrassment, and tried to project a “I know what the heck I am doing attitude, and most people don’t really question me. You could also just sped a few extra bucks and buy something else that’s kid oriented: school supplies, toys, clearance t-shirts, fruit snacks. whatever; the cashier probably doesn’t give two hoots on what you are buying, unless it’s illegal. Always go the the old lady checker. she’s seen some shit and definitely doesn’t care what you are buying!
