Lame Library V3 98.2 For Audacity On Osx Dmg

Since Lingt language seems to have gone by the waist-side some of you are looking for a substitute. I have not found anything comparable to Lingt and it is a real shame that they no longer offer support for their product, I thought it was brilliant. So, in light of that I am recommending that you use Audacity as a substitute if you are needing to record your students pronunciations. Audacity is installed on all the student laptops so that should not be an issue. However, if you want students to save their files and send them to you in a more universal format such as MP3 rather than an Audacity file, audacity needs to be set up to access a file named LAME so that it can export the files as an MP3. Although Audacity has a nice help page, it didn't clarify for me just where I needed to put the file.

When you have finished downloading, double-click the.dmg to mount it, then go to the Finder (in Safari, the 'Lame Library v3.98.2 for Audacity' virtual disk image will be extracted and mounted automatically after downloading). Double-click 'Lame Library v3.98.2 for Audacity.pkg'; the standard OS X Installer will start. Download LAME for Audacity for free.
